32. England – What is there to say about this kit? The official kit launch claims that the design on the shoulders are meant to replicate claw marks but it ends up look like a seaside put onto another boring Nike template. Looks like a training top and deservedly last placed.
31. Costa Rica – New Balance’s only kit in the tournament had the opportunity to do something exciting and different, instead we are left with a kit that looks like it was made in a low end mobile game. Shocking.
30. Iran - I kind of understand what Iran were going for with the red and green swoosh here but it ends up giving the effect that it’s a kit for the washing detergent Persil.
29. Canada – Another dull Nike template, Canadian’s were surely hoping for something a bit more exciting after qualifying for their first World Cup since 1986.
28. Ecuador – Never has a kit screamed being on M&M direct for under £10 come January more than this home kit.
27. Portugal – Designing a Portugal kit should be the easiest job in the world but somehow Nike have managed to mess it up, feels like a crime for Ronaldo to have to wear this in his last ever World Cup.
26. Morocco – They’ve attempted to do something here at least just not a lot going on and feels like it’d benefit from the national team badge being central as well.
25. Netherlands – Just a weird shade of orange isn’t it? Looks like a shag carpet from the 1970s.
24. Australia – The Socceroo’s have a pretty typical design for an Australian World Cup kit but again it’s just a bit of an odd pattern isn’t it, someone at Nike must have been binging that 70s show on Netflix when designing these.
23. Switzerland – Coming into the realm of actually okay kits now, it’s not revolutionising football kits but it’s not as terrible as the previous kits. Won’t mention Switzerland’s away kit though…
22. Poland – I like the pattern on the shoulders but can’t help that feel it’s yet another kit held back by the infuriating Nike template leaving us with just a boring generic white jersey.
21. South Korea – Interesting attempt to incorporate tiger stripes into the kit here and the collar is a nice touch, just doesn’t come together quite as well as it could for me.
